Course description

You will gain a better understanding of sepsis and SIRs in ICD-10-CM. Be able to accurately assign codes for bacteremia, septicemia, SIRs, sepsis, severe sepsis, SIRs or sepsis with acute organ dysfunction and/or septic shock, postprocedural sepsis, obstetrical sepsis and newborn sepsis. Know what to look for in the documentation, use caution and know when to query the provider. What you need to know about sepsis 3.

This course is compliant with 2017 Official Coding Guidelines and 2017 ICD-10-CM.
